To wash the detachable mop head, simply detach the mop head from the handle and then wash it on the hot water setting in the washing machine with mild detergent.

But you should avoid machine-drying your mop heads. Instead, you should hang the mop head on a clothesline or dry it in the sun.

2. Can you use Cleaning Solutions to Wash O’Cedar Mop?

Unlike the spin mop head, a twist mop head can be tricky to remove if it is your first encounter with it. Here is how to go about it.

Step 1: Make sure it is loose on the end of the mop head and then slide it up to locate the gray top.

Step 2: Then turn the mop head counterclockwise while applying a little bit of pressure for about 2-3 spins. Or, until you notice the mop head is loose from the top of the mop.
